Sushi

During the Edo period, “sushi” refered to pickled fish conserved in vinegar. Nowadays sushi can be defined as a dish containing rice which has been prepared with sushi vinegar. There are many different types of sushi. Some popular ones are:

Nigiri
Small rice balls with fish, etc. on top. There are countless varieties of nigirizushi, some of the most common ones being tuna, shrimp, eel, squid, octopus and fried egg.
Gunkan
Small cups made of sushi rice and dried seaweed filled with seafood, etc. There are countless varieties of gunkanzushi, some of the most common ones being sea urchin and various kinds of fish eggs.
Norimaki
Sushi rice and seafood, etc. rolled in dried seaweed sheets. There are countless varieties of sushi rolls differing in ingredients and thickness. Sushi rolls prepared “inside out” are very popular outside of Japan, but rarely found in Japan.
Temaki
Temakizushi (literally: hand rolls) are cones made of nori seaweed and filled with sushi rice, seafood and vegetables.
Oshizushi
Oshizushi is pressed sushi, in which the fish is pressed onto the sushi rice in a wooden box. The picture shows trout oshizushi in form of a popular ekiben (train station lunch box).
Inari
Inarizushi is a simple and inexpensive type of sushi, in which sushi rice is filled into aburaage (deep fried tofu) bags.
Chirashi
Chirashizushi is a dish in which seafood, mushroom and vegetables are spread over sushi rice.

Stupid facebook gave me some nasty viruses. When I logged on, it started popping up very inappropriate sites that I didn’t want to see. It won’t let me open ANYTHING without giving me an error message. I tried to open an anti-virus program but it won’t let me do that either. It keeps popping up a phony virus system that it says I need to buy, but it’s a scam. I’ve already purchased AVG and it’s up to date. I tried logging into a different account on my computer and doing a scan, but the scan is coming back with nothing. I know there is crap on here, I just have to find a way to get around it so I can get it off. I need some help. This is so frustrating. :/ (oh, I have Microsoft Windows. A newer version.)

hi remarkable little journal ya got right here ;) I apply the very same template on my own blog although for whatever odd cause it seems to stream faster on this web site although the one you have consists of way more content. Have you been using any individual plug ins or widgets that will speed it up? If you could give the plug ins so that I would be able to use them on my own resource site so twilight eclipse fans could watch twilight new moon online trailers and clips easier I’d personally be ever so grateful - thanks in advance :)

  9. Robert Pattinson Says:

hello i posted a comment quite some time back relating to exactly how to speed up my twilight eclipse site’s load time considering that we employed the very same theme at the time and someone left a remark answering it on my blog weeks ago - if that was you I just wanted to say cheers, and if it was not you then i’m sorry to bother you, but thanks anyhow! :)
