Quick and Easy Marshmallow Fondant Recipe
If you have been looking for an easy way to start working on fondant icing, here’s one of the simplest way to do it. In fact, it will seem more like a tip than a recipe because of how easy to do it.
To start off, you will need the following:
- Mini Marshmallows (2 bags)
- 2 tbsp of water
- butter or shortening
- confectioner’s sugar
Put all the mini marshmallows in a microwavable bowl and 2 tbsp water, microwave for a minute, stir and microwave again for a minute. Mix the melted mallows very well and add a cup of confectioners sugar. Grease your hands with butter or shortening to prevent the fondant to stick on your hands. Keep adding the confectioners sugar, knead the fondant very well, that’s it
And of course, just like any other cooking or baking activity, make sure all containers, utensils and tools are cleaned well before using it again. Make sure you use good dishwashers to clean it up well and good.
To store, wrap fondant icing in plastic wrap and place in an air-tight container. Keep refrigerated.
